About SmartHomeGuys
It all started whilst I was struggling with sciatica. I created a smart standing desk controller that worked with Home Assistant and Alexa to nag me to stand, until I did, and it helped me. The project was open-sourced on GitHub as the DeskUp Pro so anyone could build their own. But I soon realised many people simply wanted a ready-made solution, so SmartHomeGuys was created.
Today, we design, hand-assemble and sell several smart home devices that we use in our own homes every day.
